Bathroom Refits & Improvements

A bathroom refresh might keep the layout and replace selected fittings; a full refit can involve plumbing, surfaces, ventilation and electrical work. Write down what currently works and what you want to change. Keeping or moving fixtures can make a substantial difference to the scope and sequencing of the project.

Perfect Tradesmen is preparing for launch. Registering interest does not book work or guarantee an available tradesperson.

Jobs to discuss with a professional

  • Bathroom layout and fixture updates
  • Bath, basin and shower replacement
  • Coordinating tiling, plumbing and finishing

Before you ask for a quote

  • Measure the room and record the position of doors, windows and existing fixtures.
  • State whether this is the only bathroom and how disruption can be managed.
  • Agree responsibility for each specialist task and for checking the finished work.
  • Include preparation, waste, finishes and any making good in the written scope.

Who should coordinate the different trades?

Agree that explicitly. A bathroom installer may manage the whole job or cover only part of it. Ask who arranges the plumber, tiler and electrician where needed, and who takes responsibility for their sequence. Avoid assuming every quoted refit includes all finishing work.

For any quote, agree the work, exclusions, timing and how changes will be approved. Keep a written record so both sides know what is included.
