Roofing & Roof Repairs
A leak inside a property does not always identify the exact source on the roof. Record where and when the problem appears and arrange professional assessment. The roof type, age, previous repairs and access all help a roofer judge what inspection and work may be needed.
Perfect Tradesmen is preparing for launch. Registering interest does not book work or guarantee an available tradesperson.
Jobs to discuss with a professional
- Roof inspection and leak investigation
- Tile, slate and flashing repairs
- Flat roof repair or replacement
Before you ask for a quote
- Take photos from a safe position without climbing onto the roof.
- Describe when water appears and any previous repairs.
- Ask whether access equipment, removal and disposal are included.
- Request a clear description of the proposed repair, its limits and any warranty terms.
Does a leaking roof always need replacing?
No. A local defect may be repairable, while wider deterioration can call for more extensive work. Ask the roofer to explain the evidence for their recommendation and to distinguish an immediate repair from longer-term work. Early-interest registration is not an emergency response service.
For any quote, agree the work, exclusions, timing and how changes will be approved. Keep a written record so both sides know what is included.
